Background
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is generally defined a self-regulating business model that helps a company be socially accountable — to itself, guests and customers, its wider stakeholders and to the public. In practicing CSR, companies are conscious of the impact they are having on all aspects of society including economic, environmental, social and ethical factors. To engage in CSR means that, in the normal course of business, a company is operating in ways that enhance and protect people, society and the environment.
Jumeirah Group recognises its impact on society and takes pride in having hotels that are at the heart of every community we operate in. As a national champion of the United Arab Emirates accepts its responsibility to support and promote the UAE governments’ visions in this area and promote socially responsible tourism internationally.
