Developer and architect, Mirage Mille, took 36 months to complete the hotel, with the vision of recreating life in ‘Old Dubai’ in a spectacular setting, complete with waterways, lagoons, abra boats and a souk.

 

It means Harbour of peace

Mina A’Salam means ‘The Harbour of Peace’ in Arabic, and the hotel’s sand-coloured wind towers, lagoons and waterways, pay homage to ancient Arabic fishing and sailing traditions.

 

Lobby art

Look out for the petal-strewn water feature surrounding the Jumeirah beacon (the logo of the Jumeirah Group of hotels and resorts) in the centre of the opulent marble-clad lobby, as well as the mural of an ancient mariner’s map.

 

Clubs for everyone

Club access at Jumeirah Mina A’Salam opens an exclusive world of privileges. Business travellers will appreciate the Club Executive Lounge for guests aged 18 and above, while families can enjoy the Premium Leisure Club with exclusive check-in, reception and lounge, plus a playroom and computer room.

Both club lounges serve complimentary breakfast every day, all-day beverages, and afternoon teas from 15:00 – 16:30. And from 17:30 – 19:30 they host Happy Hour, serving a selection of pre-dinner drinks and canapés.
